Saltire Strikers was established on 13 September 2006 by four visually impaired people to give an opportunity for others to play social and competitive tenpin bowling. The group has grown in numbers and in strength.
Saltire Strikers is a registered charity and are self run, through fundraising events throughout the year.
We compete in a U.K League for visually impaired people (N.B.T.B.A)Â and regularly compete in summer and winter finals in Wigan.
The group is always looking for new members and volunteers to give more people the opportunity to enjoy a fun sport as well as the challenge of playing within a league, the ability to attend social events, make new friends and to try new activities that normally are not an option.
